After several weeks of packing and moving stuff to the storage container on site, and packing and servicing the RV; waiting for a septic system, well pump, and power, we were able to move to the site on Friday AM. The move was fairly uneventful, except for the sudden rain storm in the PM, where we watched our awning blow around a bit – luckily with no damage. We have water on board to last a few days, but still need to get the water from the well to the RV – - hopefully soon.
Thank you to Scott from Time Warner for installing cable Internet on site, hours after arriving. We now have a connection to the Web and can stream Netflix in our spare time.
A big thanks to Josh for helping us out in the final stretch. And a sincere thank you to our new neighbors, the Bailey’s, who invited us warn out folk for dinner and conversation on our first night on Brophy Road.
Added Notes: The well pump was up and running by Monday, August 11, and all drain lines were installed from the RV to the septic system.
